Topic: Immune Signaling in the Pathogenesis of Arrhythmogenic Cardiomyopathy
Summary: Dr. Saffitz will present new information on the role of innate immune signaling in cardiac myocytes in myocardial injury, contractile dysfunction and arrhythmias in arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy (ACM). He will also discuss the roles of injurious and protective leukocytes in the pathogenesis of ACM.
