DESCRIPTION:Sponsored by the GCC Cancer Therapeutics Training Program. Presented by Brendan Delaney\, Frank & Delaney Immigration Law\, LLC\, and Qiang Hao\, Hao Law\, PC. During this seminar\, you will learn how to successfully pursue your US Visa and Immigration during your postdoc training. It will include but not be limited to self-sponsored J-1 visas (including J1 waivers)\, F1(OPT)\, H-1B/O-1/TN\, and green card. It will also cover what to do before or after your postdoc as you move through your career transition. Speakers will discuss the type of issues that the postdocs face in terms of visa transition and how you can build a CV/Resume for purposes of a self-sponsored application to continue your career development and/or transition to an employment position. They will also review the recent guidance that was published relating to STEM\, how this affects certain visa applications\, and introduce their cases on how to work with visa and immigration lawyers.
